- 1/2 yellow onion, diced
- 2 bell peppers (red and yellow), sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 (14.5 oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 lb cheese ravioli
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated parmesan and chopped basil, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown sausage over medium heat. Add onion; cook until softened.
- Stir in bell peppers, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Sauté 5 minutes.
- Pour in crushed tomatoes and cream. Simmer 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Meanwhile, cook ravioli according to package directions.
- Drain ravioli and toss with sauce. Season to taste.
