- 1 apple (peeled, cored, and cut into 1/4 inch cubes)
- 1 peach (peeled, pitted, and cut into 1/4 inch cubes)
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 2/3 cup Steel cut oats (quick cook)
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 1 cup Gluten- Free rolled oats
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar (packed)
- 2 tbsp pumpkin spice seasoning
- 1/8 cup maple syrup
Instructions
- Cut up the apple and peach, place them in a large bowl, and stir in lime juice to prevent browning.
- In a large sauce pot, cook up the rolled oats – follow specific instructions on the pack.
- Once halfway done with the rolled oats cooking time, add in the steel-cut oats and cook continue cooking until desired texture.
- Add in the milk, chia seeds to the oats, cooking for an additional minute.
- Stir in a pinch of salt, brown sugar, pumpkin spice, the cubed apples and peaches, and maple syrup.
- Allow the oats to cool slightly and serve with an extra drizzle of maple syrup, a sprinkle of brown sugar, and an additional serving of your favorite fruits.
