Where does the name “Life’s Feasts” come from?

The name “Life’s Feasts” was inspired by the concept of embracing and enjoying all aspects of life to the fullest, including a passion for cooking and food, which adds an extra layer of meaning. It suggests indulging in the richness and abundance that life has to offer, whether it be through experiences, relationships, or personal growth. This combination captures the essence of embracing life’s pleasures, both gastronomic and otherwise, and reflects a philosophy of savoring life’s moments and finding joy in the everyday.

Where do I find inspiration?

Inspiration in the kitchen is ever-changing, shaped by our moods and experiences. One of the true joys of cooking lies in its adaptability—the ability to create, refine, and innovate, especially when navigating food allergies, sensitivities, and GERD. Every meal becomes a chance to experiment, whether adjusting flavors, reimagining presentations, or drawing inspiration from a beautifully crafted dish that begs to be recreated at home.

Beyond the kitchen, there’s something undeniably special about the character of older homes. For those who love farmhouse charm blended with touches of boho and industrial style, an older home offers endless possibilities. Every update is an opportunity to infuse personality and vision into every corner, transforming spaces into true reflections of our taste and creativity.

But life isn’t just about food and decor—it’s also about navigating challenges, especially in motherhood. In those moments, community becomes a lifeline. Surrounding ourselves with strong-minded mothers and thinkers can be a source of strength and encouragement. And when life feels overwhelming, nature provides a welcome escape. A simple walk outside clears the mind, soothes the soul, and offers a fresh perspective.

Sometimes, stepping back and taking a deep breath is the best way forward. Chaos and stress don’t have to dictate the journey—clarity often comes when we allow ourselves the space to pause and reflect. Whether cooking, creating, or embracing the joys and struggles of motherhood, inspiration is all around us—waiting to be uncovered and embraced.

Can I use your photo or recipe on my blog?

Absolutely! For sharing my recipe, feel free to do so on your blog. Just remember to provide proper credit by linking back to the original blog post.

If you’re adapting my recipe, that’s fantastic! I only request that you link back to the original blog post, as mentioned above. However, please refrain from copying and pasting the recipe directly from my site. Instead, I encourage you to use your own words and style in your adaptation.

As for using my photos on your blog, you’re welcome to do so. However, if you plan to pair the photo with the recipe on your post, I kindly ask for your prior permission.

If I don’t like a certain ingredient, can I substitute it for something I want?

Are you considering substituting ingredients or getting creative with my recipes? I encourage you to do so! Some ingredient swaps work well, but others may change taste or appearance.

Substituting ingredients is possible, but I can’t guarantee results unless I’ve personally tested the swap. I wish substitutes always worked, but some fail, leading to disappointing dishes.

If you choose to substitute ingredients, please let me know how it turned out! But along the same lines, please don’t hold your adaptation against me if it doesn’t turn out as advertised.

What do you use to stay organized?

Staying organized is key to keeping everything running smoothly! For business and managing my site, I rely on ClickUp for productivity, Canva for design and creativity, and OnlySocial for scheduling social media content efficiently.

When it comes to balancing work and life, Google Calendar is my go-to for keeping track of everything digitally, while a color-coordinated wall calendar helps me visualize schedules and stay on top of important dates.

It’s all about finding the right tools to keep things streamlined and stress-free!
